Since I inaugurated The ADPLOG gallery in Turin, every time the exhibition comes to its end, I feel a little sad, but, like after a win on the pitch, the desire to start a new adventure and to plan a new event always prevails. Thinking about it better, there's a thread that ties Noites do Brazil – the exhibition realised in collaboration with The Magnum photo agency and Save the Dream, to tell the story of Brazilian World Cup through the lenses of young and brilliant photographers, whose work can be seen in ADPLOG until the 18th of January - to the exhibition that will follow in my gallery. The connection is Brazil.
In fact, the protagonist of the new exhibition is Brazilian ( even more, he's a symbol of that country, that will never stop admiring him), and this event is a tribute to a phenomenal champion of Formula 1, one of the greatest in the history of this sport: Ayrton Senna.
The exhibition has a simple title, “Ayrton”, it has been prepared in collaboration with “Instituto Ayrton Senna” ( The Ayrton Senna institute ) and will debut in ADPLOG on the 5th of February. I'm extremely honoured to be able to host such an important event, a great opportunity to re-live great moments of the extraordinary career of a famous racing driver, who died in a fatal accident during the Imola Grand Prix in 1994, through videos, photographs and exclusive relics ( like the legendary single-seater driven by Ayrton Senna )
21 years later, the memory of Sienna is still glowing, like all the values that the Foundation has created in his name, continues to communicate to the world through charity and solidarity
This event is a great landmark for ADPLOG, and we are really happy to have the chance to offer the Italian public the possibility to remember once again the legendary "Ayrton".
